Quick Start Guide 106: Classroom Assessment Techniques

Quick Start Guide 106: Classroom Assessment Techniques In-Person / Online

Are you curious if students are learning what you want them to learn in your class? Discover and test out a range of classroom assessment techniques to help gauge if (and what) students are learning, reveal hidden practices and learning strategies, and find out how to tailor your instruction so you get the most out of your class time.
Please choose either in-person or online registration. If you change your mind and need to switch, that's fine! Just attend in the way that works best for you.

This workshop is part of the Quick Start Guide for Instructors Series...
Get your semester started on the right foot by participating in one or more of our Quick Start Guide workshops! These 45-minute sessions are designed as quick introductions to each topic with ideas shared by CETL faculty and opportunities for active learning. Let us help with your course prep for the semester. Workshops are offered in hybrid format: get up and stretch if you want to join us in person, or you don’t even need to leave your desk! You can choose to attend as many or as few of the individual 45-minute workshops as you like, or, join us for a Crash Course on Friday morning and do it all at once! See also:
