Facilitating Learning Online (FLO) Blended Learning (blended format with both In-Person and Online elements) In-Person
NOTE: This offering of FLO Blended Learning has been postponed until Spring 2024.
Are you teaching courses with both online and in-person elements? Would you like to improve the flow between modes and ensure you are utilizing the elements of both environments to maximize student learning? After this course, you will be able to create seamless lesson plans that utilize the most applicable elements of both the online and face-to-face environments. You will also learn research-based concepts, principles, and strategies that will make facilitating a course with both online and face-to-face components effective and engaging.
Offered in a blended format with both online and in-person elements, and spending time on both campuses. There will be one required online synchronous session the afternoon of Monday, October 23 (1:30-2:30pm) and three required on-campus sessions on the morning of Friday, October 27 (9am-noon), all day on Friday, November 10 (9am-4pm), and all day on Friday November 24 (9am-4pm). The rest of the course will be run asynchronously on D2L.
