Facilitator Bios:
Beth Cougler Blom is a facilitator and learning designer who, along with her team at BCB Learning Inc., works with clients across all sectors to help them design and facilitate great learning experiences, both in-person and online. She has a strong history in post-secondary education, including past experience as an instructional designer with Royal Roads University (RRU). Beth spent many years involved in the Facilitating Learning Online (FLO) courses through both BCcampus and RRU.
Beth holds a Master of Education degree from The University of British Columbia in Adult Education. She is a qualified Instructional Skills Workshop Trainer and Facilitator. Beth is the author of Design to Engage: How to Create and Facilitate a Great Learning Experience For Any Group and is the host of the Facilitating on Purpose podcast.
Jason Oliver is passionate about learning, growth, and finding new ways to bring excitement to learners. He has over 20 years of experience using his teaching, educational technology, and wilderness education background to facilitate experiential learning for a variety of clients.
Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from North Carolina State University, and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education from the University of British Columbia. He also holds a Master of Science in Organizational Leadership from the University of Colorado, including a capstone project on emotional intelligence. Jason is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation.
