Working Together: Indigenizing Your Course 2024 In-Person

We invite you to enhance your course with Indigenous ways of being and doing in this practical and hands on workshop series. We will work together using the Circle of Courage model, and other Indigenous learning frameworks to enhance curricular alignment, as well as support this by creating a Personal Indigenization Statement. Participants will have access to D2L and other resources to support learning. The intent of this workshop is to increase confidence and competency in Indigenization.

The series consists of 4 sequential sessions in May, and participants are asked to commit to at least 3 of the 4 workshop sessions. After the in-person workshop, instructors will spend time implementing their changes in the Fall, with peer-to-peer check-ins, culminating in a celebratory gathering in December. We look forward to spending time together to imagine the possibilities.
