AVI Health & Community Services - Queer Eye for the Service Provider In-Person

An introductory training aimed to provide 2SLGBTQIA+ cultural safety training for service providers, including terminology, definitions, and safe, appropriate language around topics such as pronouns, gender identities, and sexual/romantic/emotional orientations. Includes tips and information around creating more accessible, queer-safe spaces in organizations, institutions, businesses, etc. The training also explores the concepts of minority stress and microaggressions, and how these realities impact members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. The workshop also introduces and explains the concept of 2-Spirit and Intersex individuals.
