Fall 2025 Faculty Book Club - Ally is a Verb: A Guide to Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples Online
Join Natasha Parrish (Education Developer for Indigenization) in reading ‘Ally is a Verb: A Guide to Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples’, by Rose LeMay and published in 2025. Participants will commit to reading set chapters over three weeks and coming together to discuss and reflect on the themes and emergent learnings. Topics will include racism, discomfort, privilege, hope, and vision. Shelagh Rogers says, “Reading Rose LeMay is like having tea with a really good friend. We know that really good friends not only support us, but also challenge us, and challenge lead to growth.” The author is from Taku River Tlingit First Nation in northern British Columbia.

This book club is funded by our Camosun College Faculty Association. Once registered, you will receive a free copy of the book.
