AI Quick Start Guide 105: Communicating with Students In-Person / Online

Discuss opportunities to communicate with students about appropriate and inappropriate uses of Gen-AI tools in your course context, including development of course policies and syllabus statements. This is a hybrid workshop; participants are welcome to join us in person in LLC 151 or online in MS Teams.

This workshop is part of the AI Quick Start Guide for Instructors Series...

Curious how generative artificial intelligence (Gen-AI) is affecting higher education? Want to know more about how tools like ChatGPT work and how they might be used in teaching and learning? This series of short 50-minute workshops explores the ins and outs of Gen-AI technology in a shifting educational landscape and offers opportunities for instructors to discuss and adapt teaching and learning activities and assessments in this new environment. Workshops are offered in hybrid format: get up and stretch if you want to join us in person, or you don’t even need to leave your desk! You can choose to attend as many or as few of the individual 50-minute workshops as you like.
