Igniting Student Engagement and Persistence with Team-Based Learning (TBL) In-Person

Imagine a classroom where students come fully prepared because they know their contributions during in-class assignments will matter. They know they’ll be expected to participate, and they know their peers will be there to work with them. They look forward to class because they own the learning outcomes and process! This immersive workshop will provide faculty with an overview of a Team-Based Learning framework that can increase student engagement and persistence in learning, while reducing conflict in teams.

Note: Collaborative Minds, Critical Thinkers is a related workshop that provides more depth on how to structure team activities for engagement.
