Collaborative Minds, Critical Thinkers: How to Structure Team Activities for Engagement In-Person

Join us for an immersive workshop designed to equip faculty with innovative strategies to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students. Participants will delve into the concept of 4S Team Application Tasks – a dynamic approach aimed at engaging students through collaborative learning experiences. Through the principles of same, significant, simultaneous, and specific choice, faculty will discover how to craft tasks and facilitate activities that challenge students to think critically, solve complex problems, and collaborate effectively.

Note: Igniting Student Engagement and Persistence with Team-Based Learning is a related workshop that provides an overview of a Team-Based Learning framework that can increase student engagement and persistence in learning.
